Lib Dems Fight To Save Brondesbury Post Office in Brent East constituency

Many residents will be shocked and angry to hear that another Post Office is close in our area. The consultation period has already begun on the closure and will finish in just four weeks.

Local Lib Dem Sarah Teather, who is standing for the Lib Dems in the Brent East by-election, has launched a campaign to save the Post Office and is asking local residents for their help.

Sarah said, "Hundreds of local people use Brondesbury Post Office every week. It is a vital part of the local community and must be saved. The Lib Dems will be fighting this closure tooth and nail over the coming weeks."

Labour's Post Office Madness

Tony Blair's Government is closing thousands of Post Offices despite promises to protect the network. Several Post Offices have already closed in our area and local Lib Dems are saying that this is one step too far.

Sarah Teather said, "This is another broken promise by Labour. Brondesbury Post Office is a large, well used Post Office that was only recently refurbished. To close it now is madness."
