Working to Make Brent Better

Teather Slams Labour's Environment Record

Labour's record on the environment has been slammed by Sarah Teather. Tony Blair promised better railways, less pollution and less rubbish. However six years after coming to power, little has been achieved.

Sarah Teather said, "Lots of talk and spin cannot hide Labour's dreadful environmental record. They have failed to improve our railways, while pollution and the volume of waste continue to increase."

Sarah's Green Pledge

If Sarah wins this month's by-election in Brent, Sarah is pledging to fight for improvements to our environment here in Brent.

Sarah said, "An early priority must be to reduce waste and improve recycling here in Brent. Currently our Labour run Council lags behind many Lib Dem run authorities on recycling."

Sarah is also campaigning for action on global warming and to improve public transport in London.
