Sarah Teather is standing up for local people against Labour's Post Office closures

Since being elected less than six months ago local Lib Dem MP Sarah Teather has kept all her election pledges to Brent. Sarah is standing up for the people of Brent in the House of Commons and she is continuing her campaign for local people.

Sarah lives in Kilburn, Sarah is our local MP.

Sarah has set up a local constituency office. She also holds six advice surgeries a month to listen to local people's concerns; more than either of the Brent Labour MP's.

Local people have a local MP who is standing up for them and speaking out against the closure of Brent's Post Offices and is saying 'No' to tuition fees. Sarah is continuing her campaign to clean up Brent she has reported hundreds of cases of Labour Council neglect in our area.

Now the battle lines have been drawn with Labour controversially selecting as their candidate a Euro MP from Surrey who backed Tony Blair over war with Iraq.

At the next General Election local people will face a clear choice between a hardworking local MP Sarah Teather and Labour's Euro MP from Surrey.

The Conservatives have given up on Brent they have not yet selected a candidate. Their former chairman Theresa May MP said of Brent "This is not natural Tory territory."

Only the Liberal Democrats can beat Labour here in Brent!
