Dirty Streets, Tuition Fees and the Closure of Local Post Offices that's Labour's Record in Brent2.10.26pm UTC (GMT +0000) Sat 28th Feb 2004
Commenting on the Labour party selection in Brent East, Local Liberal Democrat MP Sarah Teather said: "The Labour party seem to have tied themselves in knots over their choice of candidate. Being a local MP is about fighting for local people not fighting amongst yourselves. "Dirty streets, tuition fees and the closure of our local Post Offices that is what Labour stands for in Brent. "Before I was elected, I pledged I would be a local MP. I live in Brent, I have my office in Willesden Green and I run six advice surgeries a month for local people."
