Only the Lib Dems can beat Labour in Brent!

Simon Hughes and local Lib Dem MP Sarah Teather are saying thank you to the people of Brent for their support at the recent elections. The Liberal Democrats were the only major party to improve their share of the vote in the elections across London. Voters across London rejected both Labour and Conservatives as their share of their vote fell.

Lib Dem Mayoral Candidate Simon Hughes said: "I would like to thank the people of Brent for their support during my campaign. It is clear that voters across London have rejected both the Conservatives and Labour. Of the major parties only the Liberal Democrats have increased their share of the vote across London."

In the last year Labour have now suffered two major blows in Brent. First losing the Brent East by-election to hardworking Lib Dem MP Sarah Teather and now losing the Brent and Harrow GLA seat.

As the Brent East by-election shows only the Liberal Democrats can beat Labour in Brent!
