Tsunami Earthquake touches all of us in Brent - Teather

Sarah Teather is urging people to donate to the Earthquake appeal

Local Liberal Democrat MP Sarah Teather has today placed an appeal for the victims of the Tsunami on her website. The Brent East MP is hoping that visitors to her website will contribute to the appeals of aid agencies who are working to get relief to the region.

Local Liberal Democrat Sarah Teather MP said:

"Nobody can have failed to be touched by the scale of human tragedy in the Indian Ocean. Many people in Brent will have had friends and family affected by the tragedy, their grief has been felt by people across the world. The disaster has united us all in our sense of common humanity, epitomised by the spirit of giving we have seen by the people of Brent.

"I hope people can give what ever they can afford in this time of crisis."
