Sarah is campaigning on behalf of Poorjari's in the UK

Brent East MP Sarah Teather is campaigning for the Home Office to review the regulations regarding the granting of Visa's for Poorjaries. Current rules state that the applicant must be able to speak English. This has caused a problem for a number of temples who are unable to recruit poorjaries. Poorjaries have a non-preaching role and therefore do not need English as part of their roles.
