Charles Kennedy and Sarah Teather are campaigning for extra police in Brent East. Tony Blair's Labour candidate doesn't believe every ward in Brent East deserves extra police

Local residents have been angered this week by Tony Blair's Labour candidate who has failed to back the need for extra police in our area.

Tony Blair's choice told the Willesden & Brent Times, this Wednesday that " ..there isn't a great need.." for more police in our area. With crime and anti-social behaviour being major issues in our area, local people can send a powerful message to Tony Blair and his candidate from Hertfordshire on May 5th.

Sarah Teather and the Lib Dems are calling for more police in our area. They would introduce 10,000 more police officers nationally.

Local Lib Dem Sarah Teather said:

"Crime and anti-social behaviour are increasing in Brent and Labour don't seem to be taking the issue seriously. Every ward in Brent needs more police."
