Liberal Democrat MP for Brent East, Sarah Teather was today shown the work of Brent Neighbourhood Watch and the local Police. The Neighbourhood Watch was keen to emphasise the close relations it has with the local police and took the local MP on a tour including Willesden Green police station and Willesden Green tube station.

Local Liberal Democrat MP Sarah Teather said:

"In these tumultuous times it is more important than ever that the police forge strong relationships with their local communities. Brent Neighbourhood Watch is a shining example of how local people getting involved with the local police can benefit everyone in our community.

"Brent as one of the most diverse boroughs in London must stand firm in such troubled times. The first class community relations that we have built up over the years must be protected."
