Sarah Teather MP has received an award for her recycling

Liberal Democrat MP for Brent East Sarah Teather has today won an award for the recycling of paper in her Willesden Green office. The Brent East MPs office has recycled enough paper to save 57 trees in the last year.

The certificate from Paper Round is on display in the MPs, Willesden Green office.

Local Liberal Democrat MP Sarah Teather said:

"Recycling should be an important part of all our lifestyles whether at home or at work. It is up to all of us to do our best to protect the environment for future generations.

"The Liberal Democrats have a strong record on the environment. Friends of the Earth have frequently praised our manifesto as being the most 'green' of the major parties. I am proud to be carrying on that work here in Brent."
