Local MP Sarah Teather celebrated Diwali with her constituents

Local Liberal Democrat MP for Brent East Sarah Teather has wished her constituents a Happy Diwali.

Sarah Teather said:

"Diwali is an important festival that brings great joy to many people in Brent. With so much sadness and suffering in the world it is wonderful to share in a festival that celebrates the triumph of good over evil.

"I find Diwali's message of light, optimism and hope particularly inspirational, and would like to send my very warmest wishes to all those celebrating Diwali in Brent."
