With the general election now called for May 6th, Brent Central is set to be one of the most exciting races in the country with popular hard working Liberal Democrat Sarah Teather going head to head with shamed Labour MP Dawn Butler.
Conservative leader David Cameron has already admitted his party cannot win in Brent, describing the race as a "fight to the death" between Labour and the Liberal Democrats. Bookies have also ruled out the Tories with odds of 100/1.
In parliament Sarah Teather has fought Brent's corner and taken a stand against the unpopular policies of Gordon Brown. She has taken up over 15,000 cases for local people in her constituency office and lives locally in Willesden Green.
"I have worked closely with local residents to campaign against post office, police station and tube closures, to defend our local health services, and for tax cuts to help people though hard times. Helping local people is what drives me and I will continue to fight against Labour's unfair taxes and threats to our local services."
"The Conservatives cannot win here in Brent Central. Anyone who wants a hard working MP who will put Brent first and stand up to Gordon Brown and his disastrous policies should back Sarah Teather."
